April Events and Information
Hello Spring!
April is almost here and spring has sprung (with an extra side of rain)! We are off to spring break and I hope everyone has a wonderful time. Fingers crossed for sunny skies. In April, we will be learning about life cycles of animals, insects, and plants. In addition, we will be introducing Vincent van Gogh so the children will have a deeper understanding of who he is and what makes him such a memorable artist.
Re-enrollment
Keep an eye out for our 2023-2024 re-enrollment packets. Please return them by May 1st. If you are not planning on re-enrolling your child for the 2023-2024 school year, please let us know so we can begin to plan accordingly. We are excited to begin planning the next school year!
Sibling Waitlist Update
Gaowa is at capacity with a waitlist that spans over a two year wait time. We have closed admissions for new applicants except for families currently enrolled. We have many siblings on our waitlist. Please note that although we give siblings priority, we cannot guarantee that your child will start on your desired date. It all depends on our students moving up into primary and/or children leaving the school and space becoming available. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Signing in/out
As previously mentioned, it is important that you sign your child in and out. This is not to convenience us, but it is a licensing requirement. In addition, signing in and out is for the safety of your child as well as a liability risk for the school. In order for us to comply with this requirement, we will increase the $5 fee after 2 failures in a month. Starting in April, you will be charged $20.00 after 2 failures to sign in or out. We really thank you for your cooperation.
Please note that calling the school after dropping off/pick up does not qualify as signing your child in/out.
P.S Mr. Alex thanks everyone, and has decided to get a Ferrari instead of a Porsche.
