August Events

Can you believe it's already August? Summer's final stretch is here, and we're kicking it off with excitement!

First up, our Open House is going to be a blast! Get ready for sunshine, laughter, and some seriously cool creatures. We're talking exotic reptiles and fascinating sea life. It's going to be a day full of fun for the whole Gaowa community. Check out the details below!

Next, the teachers will be coming together for their Staff Development Day to learn and build upon skills valuable to the classroom environment. Here at Gaowa Montessori, we emphasize supporting our teachers by giving them the necessary resources and tools to create the productive and enriching school that we are.

And finally, it's time to say goodbye to summer and hello to a new school year! Our teachers will be busy transforming their classrooms into inspiring learning spaces. We can't wait to see what this school year brings!

School Events & Closures

Open House: 9:30AM - 12:30PM

Get ready for a day of fun at the Gaowa Montessori Open House! We're throwing open our doors to prospective, alumni, and current families for a day packed with excitement.

From scaly slitherers to amazing aquatic creatures, face painting to icy treats, and live music to yummy eats, there's something for everyone. Plus, don't miss our informative school tours at 10 AM and 11 AM! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Staff Development Day

To ensure our teachers are equipped to create the best learning environment possible, we're giving them a day to focus on professional development. With guidance from Dr. Brett, our teachers will be more equipped with helpful tools to use in the classroom. They'll be busy learning new skills and brushing up on old ones to make sure our classrooms are always inspiring and engaging.

Classroom Setup

Sorting out Montessori materials and creating fall-themed activities, our teachers will prep their environment on this day to kick start the new academic school year! Out with the summer activities and in with the enriching and diverse materials of the Montessori world. This will also be a non-student day and therefore no childcare will be provided.
