August Recap

The month of August was a whirlwind of activity at Gaowa Montessori School. The children enjoyed a variety of summer-themed activities, from crafting colorful kites to cooking delicious chicken tacos.

In the primary program, the students delved into the world of the Summer Olympics, creating unique artworks inspired by the games. They also conducted fascinating experiments, like building miniature volcanoes, and explored the world of music by playing various instruments. Additionally, they developed their athletic skills by learning how to play soccer and expanded their vocabulary in Spanish.

Meanwhile, in the toddler program, our youngest students embarked on an underwater adventure. They engaged in hands-on activities related to deep sea creatures, sparking their curiosity and imagination.

Finally, we ended the summer season with a bang by hosting our Open House Festival. With sea creatures and reptiles to discover, the children from our communities had so much fun. They were able to cool off with yummy shaved ice and fill their bellies with delicious sandwiches. Thank you to all who were able to come and join in on the fun. We loved seeing our alumni families and sharing the joy with new and current families.

Please take a moment to reminisce with our adorable pictures.

September Events

Hooray for making it through the summer! Let’s begin the new academic school year with a fresh start and an eagerness to learn.

Our dedicated teachers have been working hard to make another spectacular school year, full of enriching learning experiences and environments.

More specifically, September marks National Courtesy Month where our school will be emphasizing the Montessori grace and courtesy lessons. These lessons teach our children how to interact with others in a demure, considerate, and mindful manner. We hope that these lessons will trickle into your home environments and we would love to hear stories if it so happens.

For a summary of our planned events, please take a look on the following page.
